What is the Amplify MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, lets an AI app use tools from other products. The Amplify MCP server gives Claude Code, Codex and other MCP apps a set of Amplify tools: read your brand, see which formats you can make, create and refine posts, images and videos, and queue them to the accounts you connected. You stay in the chat you already work in, and the work lands in your Amplify account.
It is a remote server over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in. There is nothing to install locally and no password or token to paste into a config file.
How do I connect Claude Code or Codex?
It takes two commands and a browser sign-in. In Amplify, open Settings, then Connections, and copy your Amplify server URL. Add it to your client, sign in, and choose the brand, the access level and the daily credit limit before you press Connect. The full steps are in the setup guide.

What can I ask it to do?
Ask the way you would ask a teammate. For example: "Make three posts from what's trending for my brand and schedule them for tomorrow morning." Your AI reads your brand, creates the posts with your creator, product and words, and queues them. They show up in your Amplify Calendar, so you can look before they go out.

How do I stay in control?
You set the limits when you connect, and you can disconnect any time. Pick view only if you want your AI to read and suggest without making anything, or full access to let it create and schedule. A daily credit limit caps what it can spend in a day, so a long session never surprises you.

A scheduled post means queued, not yet posted. Your Calendar shows the final result.
Who is it for?
It suits founders and teams who already live in Claude Code or Codex and would rather ask than click. A developer shipping an app can ask for launch posts without leaving the terminal. An agency can run several client brands from one chat. If you prefer to swipe through a feed each morning, the daily feed does the same job without any setup.
Worth knowing
We have tested the connection end to end with Claude Code and Codex. Other apps that support MCP should work, but their setup and policies differ, so follow their current instructions. Making things through MCP uses the same credits as making them in the app. Amplify posts to TikTok and Instagram only.

Do I need to install anything?
No local server. You add the Amplify server URL to your AI app and sign in through your browser.
Which AI apps work with it?

Can my AI post without me knowing?
Only if you give it full access. Choose view only to keep it read only, set a daily credit limit, and check the Calendar for anything queued.
Does it cost extra?
